位於毗舍離城的著名佛教遺蹟，擁有阿育王(Ashoka)時期，由國王為弘揚佛法，所建立的阿育王石柱、與阿育王佛塔。石柱的旁邊，則是有名的彌猴、獻蜜供佛的典故:「彌猴獻蜜池」。
During King Ashoka’s rule, the king himself propagated the Buddha Dharma. Hence, the Pillar of Ashoka and the Ashoka Stupa were built. They can be found in the renowned Buddhist site at Vaishali. Beside the pillar, is the 'Macaque(Monkey) offering honey pool' named after a famous story about a Macaque (Monkey) offering honey to Buddha.
