位於毗舍離城、西北方約1公里處，有個圓頂造型的、佛陀舍利塔。西元前543年五月，釋迦佛陀涅槃後，舍利子曾經被聖弟子分為八份，其中的一份舍利子，就被恭迎至此，並且安奉於此處。
A dome-shaped Stupa can be found about 1 km away from Vaishali, in the north-west direction. In 543 B.C., during May, when Shakyamuni Buddha entered into Maha-Parinirvana, his relics were split into eight portions by his noble disciples. One portion of the relics was respectfully placed in this Stupa.
