桑耶精舍

心宏法師於2011年起，於「台北、桑耶精舍」開始宣講《法句經》。2012年課程影音檔已更新上網。

Since 2011, Venerable Shin Hong Shi has been giving a talk on “Dhammapada” at the Samye Buddhist Association, Taipei. The new media files of lecture in 2012 are update on web site and downloadable.

 
「法句」（ DHAMMAPADA），是佛陀在不同場合中說的詩句，生動活潑地描述了佛陀和僧伽運作情形之外，也記載佛陀的在家信徒和當時北印度人的生活和想法，當中大部份跟道德有關。匯集成經是在王舍城（RAJAGAHA）第一次佛經結集時（佛滅後三月）由眾阿羅漢誦出，並命名為DHAMMAPADA──法句經。

Dhammapada is a collection of verses spoken by the Buddha on various occasions. These verse vividly describe the lives of the Buddha and Sangha, as well as the thinking of layman in north India. Most verses deal with ethics. The Dhammapada was orally assembled by many Arhats in the first gathering in the city of Rajagaha three months after the Buddha passed away.
