Since our Samye Center was established, Master Shing Hong travelled together with the center practitioners to many different pilgrimage places almost every year. The pilgrimage can give us much clearer idea of how Buddhism developed in different countries, and understand more about the Buddhism doctrine from the related historial buildings of Buddhism. 圣朝，更可以懺除业障累积修行资粮。如：在密教经典里记载，若一个人，一生当中能到佛陀的出生地(尼泊尔、伦比尼园)、成佛地(印度、菩提迦耶)、初转法轮地(印度、鹿野苑)、涅槃地(印度、拘尸那迦城)，此人来生不会堕三恶道。 Much more important is that, pilgrimage might reduce one’s karma and increase the wealth of Buddhist practice. For example, inside the Sutra of Esoteric Buddhism said, if one can visit the Buddha’s birth place (Lumbini, Nepal), enlightenment place (Bodhgaya, India), first discourse place (Sarnath, India), or place of nirvana (Kushinagar, India), this one will not fall into three lower realm paths in the next life.
