Since our Samye Center was established, Master Shing Hong travelled together with the center practitioners to many different pilgrimage places almost every year. The pilgrimage can give us much clearer idea of how Buddhism developed in different countries, and understand more about the Buddhism doctrine from the related historial buildings of Buddhism. 聖朝，更可以懺除業障累積修行資糧。如：在密教經典裡記載，若一個人，一生當中能到佛陀的出生地(尼泊爾、倫比尼園)、成佛地(印度、菩提迦耶)、初轉法輪地(印度、鹿野苑)、涅槃地(印度、拘尸那迦城)，此人來生不會墮三惡道。 Much more important is that, pilgrimage might reduce one’s karma and increase the wealth of Buddhist practice. For example, inside the Sutra of Esoteric Buddhism said, if one can visit the Buddha’s birth place (Lumbini, Nepal), enlightenment place (Bodhgaya, India), first discourse place (Sarnath, India), or place of nirvana (Kushinagar, India), this one will not fall into three lower realm paths in the next life.
