位於大涅槃寺附近的安迦羅 (Angara Chaitya)，相傳為佛陀涅槃後，荼毗火化的地方。塔座高約10公尺，直徑約40公尺，是當年佛陀自己以三昧真火 (Samadhi-Fire)，火化自己身體的聖地。
Angara Chaitya, a holy site situated near to the Maha-Parinirvana Temple, was believed to be the place where Buddha's body was cremated after his Pari-nirvana. The height of stupa/pagoda is about 10 metres and the diameter is 40 metres. At that time, Buddha using 'Samadhi Fire' (meditational absorptions (a word found in internet)) to cremate his body himself.
