位于毗舍离城、西北方约1公里处，有个圆顶造型的、佛陀舍利塔。西元前543年五月，释迦佛陀涅槃後，舍利子曾经被圣弟子分为八份，其中的一份舍利子，就被恭迎至此，并且安奉于此处。
A dome-shaped Stupa can be found about 1 km away from Vaishali, in the north-west direction. In 543 B.C., during May, when Shakyamuni Buddha entered into Maha-Parinirvana, his relics were split into eight portions by his noble disciples. One portion of the relics was respectfully placed in this Stupa.
