位於王舍城南邊的竹林精舍(Galanda Venuvana)，是佛教史上，第一座提供僧團安居淨住的僧院。圖為竹林精舍內的『迦蘭陀池』。
Located at the south of Rajgir, 'Galanda Venuvana' is the first Buddhist monastery to provide lodging for Sangha members in Buddhist history. The pond in the picture is known as Galanda Pond which is situated within the monastery ground.
